Haiti Earthquake

On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude richter scale hit the poor nation of Haiti. The Haitian Goverment suspects that around 500,000  people are dead. Most were probably killed due to the poorly constructed building. When the U.S. Marines arrive at the spot before sending in massive aid, they see people on the streets trying to dig thier loved ones out. Some were sleeping on the street and searching desperatley for clean water. This truly is a pitiful scene.

Yes, 'pitiful' describes this very accurately. Now it is time we go back for a look after a week's rescue efforts and look at how things are now.
