CLIO Advertisment Deconstruction

Target Audience
Everyone
Why it won a CLIO
Because, it's cute and shows how well the Ziploc bag works in a easy, simple and cute way that everyone will understand.
Elements
Symbolism- The tree in the background is actually reddish, because of the fall. But they put the Ziploc bag on top of some of the leaves, and it shows how well the Ziploc bag works. It shows that the Ziploc bag can keep things fresh and keep air out so nothing will dry.
Body-Language- Body language is usually with people and how they act and look, making us think that if we by the product we will be the same. Since there are no people in this ad, there is no body language.
Camera Angle- The camera is angled so the biggest most attention taking thing in the picture is the big tree with the plastic bag.
Special Effects- Either the green part or the orange part of the tree was edited so that it would seem like the Ziploc bag was keeping everything fresh.
Lighting and Colour-The building in the background isn't very colorful so the tree stands out directing our attention towards it.
Beauty and Social Standing- There aren't any people here so, there isn't any beauty and social standing.
Layout and Graphics- There isn't any text, but the message comes across clearly. It's an interesting ad and the message is that if you use a Ziploc bag you keep everything fresh. It's really cute and funny with minimal text attracting people to it.
